Connecting Arizona to the world.
BNSF Railway’s $3.2 billion Logistics Park Phoenix (LPP) represents one of the largest private infrastructure investments in Arizona history. Located in northwest Maricopa County, this 4,320-acre state-of-the-art rail facility will enhance Arizona’s supply chain capacity, strengthen its global trade connections, and cement its role as a logistics and manufacturing powerhouse for decades to come.
LPP will feature an integrated intermodal terminal, logistics center, and industrial park designed to streamline the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods across the Southwest. By linking directly into BNSF’s 32,500-mile national rail network, the project will improve efficiency for manufacturers and retailers while utilizing rail—the most environmentally efficient way to move freight.
The scale of the benefits is transformative: 76,000 direct and indirect jobs, $4 billion in labor income, and $258 million in annual tax revenue to fund local schools, colleges, and infrastructure. This project ensures Arizona can meet the demands of a rapidly growing population and a modern, interconnected economy.
In an era of strained supply chains and growing logistics challenges, BNSF’s investment positions Arizona at the forefront of U.S. manufacturing and distribution. Projects like LPP not only keep Arizona competitive but also strengthen the national goal of a resilient domestic supply network. Rejecting such progress risks stagnation, lost investment, and missed opportunity.
BNSF’s Logistics Park Phoenix embodies the vision of an Arizona that welcomes innovation, invests in infrastructure, and builds the future from the ground up.
